Workshop details
This one day basketry workshop will teach you how to weave a round stake and strand basket. You will learn lots of basketry techniques that will enable you to create many more baskets in the future. You will have a range of willows to choose from to create a unique basket to take home. You will learn how to control the shape and size of the basket and explore a number of traditional basketry techniques. You will be given a pre made base to ensure you have enough time to finish your basket. This workshop is ideally suited to complete beginners.
